Emma & Steve were meant to be married in April 2020 so a few adjustments had to be made to reschedule their beautiful wedding day. After having it on hold for a little while to figure everything out, changing the ceremony and reception location just a week before the big day, Emma & Steve said their I do’s in front of their families and friends at a stunning location on April 10th 2021. A few Google searches and the wedding took place across The Headmasters cafe in Beechmont, in the Scenic Rim region near the Gold Coast. The view on the valley was simply breathtaking! Although Steve’s family and Emma’s brother couldn’t attend the wedding day, they were all with us through live videos! Steve’s family were in Canada and Emma’s brother were in Dubai – Unable to come back to Australia due to the pandemic, they watched the whole day live and even made speeches! Gotta love technology sometimes! It was obviously very emotional for everyone (Yes I shared some tears too, can’t help it haha) but everyone was extremely grateful
that they could in a way be there to celebrate this beautiful day.
Steve & his groomsmen spent the morning getting ready in his apartment on the Gold Coast in Mermaid beach. The laughs, fun and a few beers were plenty as they were putting their suits on from Bruno’s Stuits. Emma & the girls got ready at her parents beautiful home in Gaven, Gold Coast, pampered by Tamika Hair & Makeup. The bride to be was all ready and dolled up in her beautiful gown from Heirloom Studio, a hand made dress designed by Kate Stevenson, absolutely gorgeous.
The ceremony and reception took place at the same location at Headmasters Cafe in Beechmont. Located in the Scenic Rim Region on the Gold Coast. Event Stylist & Co was already on site, making sure everything was on point. Gorgeous marquee from Event Marquees and furnitures from Hampton Event Hire, it just looks stunning and guests started to arrive with excitement. The tripod was set up so family over Canada & Dubai could see what was happening. Emma arrived in a top notch limo from Oak Corp Limo and started to walk down the aisle, with her dad by her side following her bridesmaids steps. Married by Helen O’Brien we proceeded with bridal photos around the area making the most of the beautiful green nature. The Scenic Rim region has plenty of fields to offer, we made sure to take advantage of it, driving around Rosins lookout conversation park, Beechmont and its surroundings.
Our bellies were full with amazing food from VGC Catering cocktail style, everyone enjoying themselves dancing with some serious dance move, we even got our bride doing the houlahoop and we were all stocked! It was truly an amazing day and night celebrating Emma & Steve. Felt really blessed to be able to capture their beautiful union.
