Maddie & Shane – Mirra Events Brisbane
Maddie & Shane’s day was my second last wedding of 2021. The whole event took place in Brisbane City. Maddie and Shane got ready at the same location, different room, at the Emporium Brisbane in Southbank. The pool area there is gorgeous, overlooking the city, makes it a stunning place for some photos of the guys once they were all dressed up! They travelled with style of course, driving throughout the city and arriving to the ceremony in a fierce but elegant black Mazerati.
The ceremony, as well as the reception, took place at the beautiful Mirra Events, in Brisbane Fortitude Valley. The place is absolutely amazing! Tucked in a little street, the vibe at Mirra Event is absolutely delightful.
We decided to head over to Howard Smith Wharves for photos, near the Brisbane river. As we arrived, the air was really muggy and hot, sky was starting to turn dark grey. It was just a matter of time before that storm unleashed itself as we could hear the thunder not too far away. But this didn’t stop us! Why would it!? You can have amazing photos in a stormy weather, and this is just what we did! Thunder, dark sky, rain and even hail, we still managed to get some amazing shots!
Getting back to the reception, the party was only getting started, guests and the newly weds having fun, then sending the night away with a beautiful first dance in the middle of sparklers. Just a beautiful celebration!
