The Lakers Family – North Stradbroke Island Family Photos

You may have already seen this beautiful family on my website, socials. Meet the Lakers! I have been photographing this family for about 5 years now. Lisa got in touch with me to get her first family session in, it was a gorgeous winter sunrise on the Gold Coast. And from that morning, it was only the beginning of a wonderful friendship. I have been capturing her family ever since and seen their boys grow into fine young men! Even if Harry is still our little munchkin hehe!

This time for their family photos, we decided to take the boat out. They absolutely love spending time on the water as a family, camping on North Stradbroke Island. I was so stocked! The weather couldn’t have been any better.

I drove from Brisbane to their local marina at Horizon Shores Marina & Shipyard and from there we drove the boat the South Stradbroke Island where we found a very secluded beach only accessible by boat. We had the whole beach to ourselves, it was absolutely devine! We also got to see a few kangaroos hopping around and watching us. So cuuute! As the sun started to set slowly, we got back on the boat. We finished to get some more family photos as the sunset was starting to turn to a nice light orange colour then cruised our way back to the marina finishing with fireworks of colours in the sky, turning dark orange, red, pink, you name it! Was truly an amazing day, with an amazing family!
