Nicole and Andrew – O’Reilly’s Canungra Valley Vineyards Wedding
About 7 years ago, I used to work in retail as a casual doing a few hours here and there as well as working on my photography business. I was working at DFO Brisbane Outlet at Oakley. Andy was working at Hurley and Nicole at Puma. Our stores were close to one another and this is where we all met, however Andy’s and Nicole’s store were literally in front of each other and this is where it all began for these two!
When they asked me if I was available to photograph their wedding day, I jumped onto my computer to check my calendar and replied straight away that “YES I am and YES I would absolutely LOVE to capture your day!” I felt so honoured to be able to this for them, the day couldn’t come any faster!
From Brisbane, I drove to the beautiful sunny Gold Coast in Surfers Paradise where Nicole and Andy got ready at the Meriton Suites Surfers Paradise. The weather was beautiful, they had two seperate rooms over looking the vast Gold Coast ocean and its fifty shades of blues. Comes mid afternoon, it was time to drive to O’Reilly’s Canungra Valley Vineyards. I was excited to photograph yet another wedding at this stunning wedding venue. It is so peaceful and secluded.
Nicole and Andy’s wedding ceremony was officiated by Lisa Laker – Marriage Maker. Absolutely love doing weddings with this legend! She started as a client when I captured her family 6 years ago and we are now amazing friends. She also did the MC during that night. She really keeps the fun going, making everyone happy. O’Reilly’s Canungra Valley Vineyards is such a vast wedding venue, once the ceremony and congratulations ended, we wondered the property until sunset for bridal photos with the newly weds. Then we just walked back to the reception where the night started off and the bridal party made a pretty amazing entrance!
To say the least, Nicole and Andy’s wedding day was just stunning, heaps of fun and full of joy! I am so delighted that I got to see them to say “ I Do “ to each other and that I got to capture their wedding photos.
