Julie and Andrew’s wedding – What A day! When we first met, it was during their engagement session that turns into a beautiful family session with their little Sophie, at the beach in Brisbane while the sun was setting down and we were all splashing water. After that afternoon, I knew their wedding day would be just as relaxed as they were.
03.03.2023 – A very popular date indeed! Probably had about 10+ enquires for that date! The day started with Andrew and his groomsmen in a cute little airbnb house in Moogerah, Queensland. Chatting, having a few beers and a good laugh while getting dressed up. As I arrived to Julie and the girls, the talented ladies from Blush’d Brides were already in action pampering the beautiful bride. They got ready at the stunning Herrmann House in Kalbar, Queensland. Which is only about 20mns drive to their wedding venue at Kooroomba Vineyards and Lavender Farm. We did a “first look” with her dad that made us all teary, this gets me everytime! He looked so proud of her baby girl! And we did another “first look” with Julie’s little girl, Sophie, seeing each other all dresses up with their beautiful dresses.
As I arrived to Kooroomba Vineyards and Lavender Farm, guests slowly started to come down to the chapel. Blooms By Bridie did her little magic around the place. Colours was absolutely stunning! Bright and colourful. Ceremony started, followed by congratulations and groups photos before heading off around the property for bridal photos. One think you won’t be missing at Kooroomba Vineyards and Lavender Farm is space! There are so many different areas you can use, it’s simply perfect! The chapel, the swing, the vines, the long grass … Oh and the sunset there! Stunning! Just before sunset was over, I quickly went into the reception area to snap some shots. Again, A-mazing! Golden light coming through the vast windows giving the room a beautiful yellow and orange colour. You can even see the chapel through it.
All guests were seated and the bridal made their entrance, the night was only starting off and it was a good start. Julie and Andrew did their first dance outside under the festoon lights before the rest of their family joined in. After a little while took them away for a few minutes back down to the chapel to do some night shots and off they went rocking that dance floor. Lots of groovy moves were involved as well as a shoey! I mean, did you even celebrate your wedding day if you didn’t a good old ozzie shoey! Straya!
